The Sax Room is a new community saxophone ensemble being explored for players in and around the southern Villages area.
Our vision is simple: create a welcoming musical community where soprano, alto, tenor, and baritone saxophonists can enjoy making music together while exploring a wide variety of repertoire, styles, and musical experiences.
Whether your interests include concert music, jazz, popular music, movie themes, holiday selections, or something entirely different, The Sax Room aims to keep things fresh, engaging, and fun.
As the ensemble develops, instrumentation and part assignments will remain flexible. Rather than permanent chair placements or fixed instrument assignments, members will have opportunities to contribute in different ways based on the needs of the music and the strengths of the group.
The exact size and structure of the ensemble will evolve based on interest and participation.
